Delete Your Workhand Account

You can delete your Workhand account and associated data at any time. Workhand is operated by Innovative Ops LLC.

If you cannot access the app, email us from the email address you used to sign up:

We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

Account deletion permanently removes:

• Your user profile (name, email, push notification token)
• All companies you own and their associated data: customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, costs, materials, schedules, daily logs, design files, punch-list items, messages, and all other business records
• All photos, documents, and files uploaded by you or your team
• Subcontractor invitations and team-member relationships you created
• Push notification tokens associated with your account

What is retained

For legal, accounting, and security reasons, the following are retained for the periods listed:

• Stripe billing records (subscription invoices, refunds, tax records): retained for 7 years per US tax law. These are stored by Stripe under your Stripe Customer record and managed by Stripe. Email support@workhand.app if you need a copy.
• Audit logs (security events such as login timestamps and failed authentication attempts): retained for 12 months for fraud and security purposes, then automatically purged.
• Anonymized crash reports sent to our error monitoring provider (Sentry): user identifiers are removed at the time of account deletion. Aggregate diagnostic data with no link to your identity is retained.

Effect on your team and customers

• If you are an account owner, deleting your account also deletes all data for the company you own and removes access for all your team members.
• If you are an employee or subcontractor on someone else's company, deleting your account removes you from those companies. The owner's data and the jobs you worked on remain with the owner.
• Estimates and invoices already sent to your customers remain accessible to those customers via the email links until the related job and document are deleted by the account owner.
