How do I get started with Workhand?
Download the app on iPhone or Android, create your company, add your first customer, and build your first estimate. The Setup guide walks you through it in about 15 minutes. Free plan supports 1 active job and 1 user, so you can run a real job before deciding on a paid tier.
How do I invite my crew?
Open Settings, tap Team, tap Invite. Enter their phone or email. Pick a role: Owner, Project Manager, Sales, Field Crew, or Subcontractor. They get a link and set up their own account. Subs get a free seat on the jobs you assign them to.
Where do I connect Stripe for payments?
Settings, Payments, Connect Stripe. It walks you through Stripe Connect setup in about 10 minutes. Rates are 2.9 percent plus 30 cents per card transaction, with zero platform markup from Workhand. ACH is 0.8 percent capped at $5.
Does Workhand work without cell signal?
Yes. Photos, notes, time entries, mileage, and per-job chat all queue offline and sync when signal comes back. You can walk a basement or an underground utility trench and the data still lands cleanly on the job when you resurface.
How does QuickBooks Online sync work?
On the Team plan, connect QuickBooks Online from Settings, Integrations. Customers, invoices, and payments sync two-way in real time. You keep QBO as the book of record. Workhand is the field layer on top.
How do I change languages inside the app?
Settings, Language. Pick English, Spanish, or Portuguese (Brazil). Every menu, button, screen, and error message flips. Chat has a separate one-tap per-message translation, so you can leave the UI in English and still translate what your crew types.
